Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026. These terms explain how GlideAPI can be used, what is not allowed, and what data is required to operate your account.
1. Agreement to These Terms
GlideAPI provides an OpenAI-compatible API gateway, customer portal, and related services. By creating an account, signing in, using the website, creating or using an API key, making a payment, accepting free credits, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use GlideAPI for a company, team, client, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. What GlideAPI Does
GlideAPI routes API requests to trusted first-party AI model providers and carefully selected provider networks, and gives you one place to manage API keys, credits, usage, pricing, routing, and billing. GlideAPI does not create or train the upstream AI models. Model availability, speed, behavior, and outputs may change because providers can change their systems at any time.
3. Account Data and Request Content
GlideAPI stores account and service records that are necessary to operate the platform, including your user ID, email address, display name, account status, balance, payment/top-up records, API-key metadata, usage totals, request timestamps, selected model, endpoint, token counts, cost, and error metadata.
GlideAPI does not store, save, sell, or use your prompts, chat messages, uploaded image content, tool-call payloads, or model responses for training, resale, profiling, or marketing. Request content is forwarded only to the trusted provider selected by GlideAPI routing so the request can be processed.
You are still responsible for what you send through the Service. Do not send secrets, illegal content, or data you do not have the right to process.
4. Eligibility and Free Credits
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to use the Service. Promotional credits and free trials are limited to one person or organization unless we explicitly approve otherwise.
We may require payment-method verification before issuing promotional credits. Attempts to farm, resell, automate, or abuse free credits can result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of promotional balances.
5. Your Account and API Keys
You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. Keep your keys secure. If a key is leaked, shared, resold, embedded in client-side apps, or used by someone else, usage and charges remain your responsibility.
You may build products on top of GlideAPI, but you must not misrepresent GlideAPI, bypass limits, hide abuse, or violate upstream provider policies.
6. Acceptable Use
You may use GlideAPI only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the Service, other users, upstream providers, payment processors, or infrastructure providers.
You may not use GlideAPI for:
- NSFW, pornographic, erotic, explicit sexual, fetish, sexual roleplay, sexual image, or adult sexual content of any kind;
- child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, or sexual content involving minors;
- fraud, phishing, scams, credential theft, payment abuse, impersonation, or deceptive activity;
- malware, account takeover, vulnerability exploitation, unauthorized access, or evasion of security systems;
- harassment, threats, doxxing, blackmail, or illegal surveillance;
- multi-accounting, trial farming, automated signup abuse, payment-method abuse, or credit farming;
- excessive benchmarking, scraping, load testing, or behavior that degrades GlideAPI or upstream providers without permission.
NSFW and sexual-content usage is strictly prohibited on GlideAPI. If we become aware that you are using the platform for this content, we may warn, suspend, throttle, revoke keys, remove credits, or permanently ban your account and related accounts from the platform. If the activity continues after notice, or if the content involves exploitation, minors, non-consensual sexual content, or other serious harm, access may be terminated entirely without further notice.
We may suspend, throttle, block, revoke keys, remove credits, or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is risky, abusive, fraudulent, illegal, or harmful.
7. Billing, Credits, and Top-Ups
GlideAPI uses prepaid credits. Credits are used for API consumption and related platform charges. Credits are not a bank account, stored-value card, or cash-equivalent balance outside GlideAPI.
Prices may change over time. Discounts, promos, and model-specific pricing can expire, be changed, or be removed. Your dashboard and model list show the current effective pricing where available.
8. Refunds and Disputes
Unused credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where GlideAPI was unavailable for a significant period due to our fault and you could not reasonably use the Service.
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first, we may suspend the account, revoke credits connected to the disputed payment, and block further use until the issue is resolved.
9. Trusted Providers
Requests are processed by trusted first-party providers or carefully selected provider networks. We prioritize providers with strong privacy and security commitments, including providers that state they do not sell customer request data or use API request content to train models without permission.
Provider systems may still process request content transiently to generate the response and may apply their own rate limits, safety filters, abuse-prevention checks, or legal controls. GlideAPI does not control provider model outputs and does not guarantee any model, provider, route, latency, quality, or uptime.
10. Ownership
You retain the rights you have in your input and output. GlideAPI does not claim ownership of your prompts, messages, files, or model outputs. You grant GlideAPI the limited permission needed to route requests, calculate usage, maintain balances, secure the service, and provide support.
11. Monitoring and Enforcement
We may review account, billing, API-key, usage, and error metadata to operate the Service, investigate support issues, detect fraud, enforce these Terms, and protect the platform. This does not mean we store your request messages or model responses.
When we learn about NSFW, sexual-content, exploitation, or other prohibited use through provider safety signals, user reports, support tickets, payment/security reviews, or other reliable indicators, we may require the user to stop immediately, restrict model access, disable API keys, suspend the account, or permanently ban the user and related accounts.
We may take enforcement action with or without notice if we believe there is abuse, fraud, legal risk, payment risk, prohibited sexual-content usage, or risk to GlideAPI or an upstream provider.
12. Service Changes and Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, pause, rate-limit, disable, or discontinue any feature, model, route, provider, pricing rule, or account access at any time.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlideAPI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, model output errors, provider outages, or unauthorized use of your API keys.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to GlideAPI in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $5,000, whichever is lower.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GlideAPI harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your API keys, your applications, your users, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you through the website, customer portal, or email. Continued use of GlideAPI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the European Union and the EU member state with competent jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the European Union unless applicable law requires otherwise.
